The Menzingers at Beer City Music Hall wasn’t just a concert—it was a full-blown emotional endurance test disguised as a night out.
I Am The Avalanche kicked things off like they had a personal vendetta against everyone’s ability to “just have a chill evening.” High energy, loud, and just the right amount of chaos—they had the crowd moving early and set the tone like, “Hope you didn’t plan on keeping your voice tomorrow.”
By the time The Menzingers hit the stage, the place was already buzzing. Then they proceeded to absolutely level it. Every song felt like a nostalgic gut punch, even the ones that don’t technically apply to my life (yet). The entire crowd was yelling along like we were all legally obligated to know every word, with lots of dramatic finger-pointing during choruses and the occasional “I felt that a little too much” moment.
Somewhere in the middle of the set I realized I was sweating, hoarse, and fully re-evaluating at least a few life decisions—but in a fun way. The band sounded incredible, the crowd was all-in, and the vibes were the perfect mix of cathartic and slightly unhinged.
Left with ringing ears, no voice, and the strong sense that I just attended the best group therapy session I’ve ever paid for. Would absolutely do it again—maybe with better hydration and fewer feelings next time.
